After suffering a serious attack recently from a computer virus the dreaded chicken pox has now struck my son. I don't know whats worse, I spent a lot of time recovering data from my computer virus when the chicken pox struck resulting in long nights of comforting my son as he scratched and moaned. There is still nothing you can really do except the usual remedies of calamine lotion and baths ( I was told baking soda in the bath helps). It's a pity as I was considering getting their photo tak...

Ireland will not be the land of smiling faces as Bush arrives in Ireland soon. The people of Ireland are protest against the war and feel it was unjust. The recent pictures of Americam soilders abusing prisoners has not helped Bush and he faces a new battle here in Ireland. To make things worse America is looking for immunity for its agents during Bush's time in Ireland. The fear is if force is required to protect the American president and the results end in serious injury or death while on...

I had the chance to put the dell All-In-One Printer 922 to the test and found the following. Borderless printing in sizes up to A4 which produce good quality prints in colour or black and white, but the ink tends to run on the edges causing the back of the page to be stained. Optional photo cartridge for greater range of colour printing and with good photo quality paper produced sharp crisp images equal to any photo lab. Perfect fit for any home or small office they say but...

Former President Ronald Reagan died Saturday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 93. I felt it was only fitting to salute a great man and at the noble age of 93 the turnout and publicity he recieved was astounding. From the people of Ireland we honour your name. During your visit to Ballyporeen in 1983 the small village became the focal point of Ireland and put it on the map. The village of Ballyporeen is not far from where I live and Ronald Reagan's great grandfather was baptised here i...

The story from where we left them so far After returning from their honeymoon and showing "home movies" to their friends, Shrek and Fiona learn Fiona's parents have heard their daughter has married her true love and wish to meet the husband and invite him to their kingdom, called Far Far Away. The catch? Fiona's parents are unaware of the curse that struck their daughter and assumed she married Prince Charming so are a bit shocked to learn thier son-in-law is a 700-pound ogre with horrible ...

This is the family yesterday when we walked through the local wood. I thought it was time to keep a record of my weekly activities and share them with you. Later we fed the ducks, as you might see the pond is small and the area is preserved. It is quite close to where I live and I found that you tend to forget about the areas of interest in your area the closer they are the less you remember it.

In the local Nationalist was an interesting story of how the new Irish law banning smoking in pubs has caused one man to rise from the ashes and be heard. A former Mayor of Clonmel is taking a novel approach to next month’s local elections - he’s standing on a single-issue protest, won’t be doing any canvassing and won’t be accepting campaign donations. This unusual method of running for office is being employed by Dominick O’Hara, whose previous political existence was as a Fine Gael c...

While a mother was taking her children to school today, three dogs surrounded the mother and her two children. In the moments that passed the dogs jumped and snapped in search of food, they were obviously hungry. But that was the last thing in this mothers mind. The dogs did no physical harm but emotionaly the mother and children were distressed. this happened my son at an early age and has since had a fear of dogs passing him on a lease. Where are the owners when their dogs are causing this ...

A wiki page allows people to write and erase as if it were a forum thread with one post that anyone can alter. Some people use them to post links to their sites. They're emerging as a major weapon in the nigritude ultramarine battle. It has been suggested that our new radio station use this to set programs and update scheduals on a word document or excel page. This allows us to work on the same page one at a time and update it at will. Of course wikis emerged not as an SEO tool but as ...
