College blues as I'm back to study again after three months. The first thing I noticed was how the students returning for their second and third year of studies entered the doors of teaching with smiles. College is not just study and learning but for some a second family. Many of my fellow students are to return and share their three months of adventure, from travel to summer jobs of interest. The gossip and stories ease us into the first few classes.

I'm glad to be back as it gives me some valuable time to catch up on my blogging and update my web sites. The summer for me was full of odd jobs I had put off for too long and with the summer break I had no excuse to escape.

The LashFM radio station is also nearing completion after many hours of work put in by both college students and staff. What started out as an idea is soon to become a reality. The first year students were the most interesting as I watched them register I remembered how my first day was filled with fears and meeting strangers who later became good friends. I enjoyed just watching them, as I was now the more experienced student compared to them. No fears for me this year just the excitement of six new modules and more skills being added to my previous six modules. It was thanks to Tipperary Institute that I acquired the skills to make my presence known on the web. Before college I had only a working knowledge of a pc but the interest in knowing more. Now one year later I feel confident to produce content on the web and share my thoughts with others through blogging and creating web sites to share my personal interests with others I will never meet. This is what gives most bloggers the confidence to write without the fear of facing a reader who may attack their work. Blogs that accept comments are a good source for getting feedback without the confrontation face to face. I enjoy writing late at night when it's quite and the children are in bed.

I would like to thank all those who commented on my previous blogs and hope my skills improve over the next year of study
