Windows Vista Codename Longhorn

Just got my hands on a CD of Windows VISTA Codename Longhorn from 2004

Just got a cd containing the Microsoft OS VISTA Codename (Longhorn) distributed at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference of May 2004. It's a 180 day trial of Microsoft Vista. I'm considering wheather or nor to try it out. Curiosity will get the better of me and I know eventually I will install it but is there any point.

Please comment if you know anything about this cd.
Windows Vista is all over the media but I like to try before I buy.
