My first domain name www.biostarweb.com

I decided to buy my first domain name after some time searching, I found a good hosting site offerinf free space and domain registeration. What did I pick biostar.com ! why (wish I knew it just jumped into my head and now I'm stuck with it. It's menth to mean "A Living Star" but thats just a word I made up but it might catch on. Anyway my domain is http://www.biostarweb.com and yes this is a cheat way of promoting a site name on the web using the rss feed. But that how it starts . One of the most important things for a website is discoverability and searchability on the web. Search engines crawl the web and add your domain and infrormation to their database then crawl again in search of more. What good is a website if no one finds you.

Nice, but just as some constructive criticism, you should change the typeface you use. Looks like you're using Times Roman in bold, which is a typeface for print. There are a lot of good web typefaces out there that look a bit more professional.

I've never seen domain registration being free. But it sure is cheap. Less than 10 bucks. Lots of cheap hosting plans out there too. I pay less than $30 a year for my site.

In regards to the domain name I bought it. but it was only 10 pounds for the year with 1.5 gigs of space and loads of tools . check it out here ....Link

As for the typeface the main page was just testing the site I will be creating a totally new index later. I like to check out all the extra bits first but thanks for the feedback, maybe you will check it out again when I'm finished. I'll post my new look at a later stage.

If you want free domain names then yes there are some out there but one I use has to recieve at least 30 hits every 60 days or it returns to the domain. check it out here Link

Checked out the site and the prices are reasonable not bad for 10 pounds
